Appointments should be booked in your child’s name!

We do our best to keep assessment times open, but sometimes there is a 2-3 wait to see a physiotherapist. If you need support more urgently please put your child on the waitlist and we will squeeze them in as soon as we can!

Connor was raised in the Comox Valley and has deep connections to the community and to the outdoors. He left the Valley to pursue his education in Ottawa, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics and his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa before returning to the Valley.

Connor grew up in a bilingual household, and enrolled in bilingual programs throughout his post-secondary education. He is fluently bilingual in both English and French, and highly values serving both anglophone and francophone members of the Comox Valley community.

Outside of work, you can often find him hiking in the mountains, running on trails, or enjoying a good book in one of the many parks in town.

La francophonie est une partie de sa vie qu’il tient très à cœur. Ça lui est très important que vous puissiez accéder aux services en français, même dans une telle communauté. Connor a très hâte de vous servir !

Andrea is a passionate physiotherapist who earned her Master’s of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. Her path to physiotherapy was solidified during her undergraduate degree experience at Dalhousie University, where she played on the varsity hockey team for four years while completing her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience. This brain-body dual focus is one she continues to emphasize in her work today, in order to promote mindfulness and positive body awareness while optimizing movement.

A Vancouver Island local, Andrea is an avid outdoors-person herself and is always looking for her next adventure to enjoy through running, hiking, skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and/or cycling! She also loves connecting with others through activity and has been involved in introducing sports to children with neurodevelopmental delays, coaching hockey at the provincial and minor hockey levels, and working with local fitness centres to deliver education and mobility sessions.

Her passion for physiotherapy started, and continues, as a passion for empowerment through movement. Whether this looks like assessing personal biomechanics to support injury prevention, optimizing functional movement and daily life participation, training for high level sport success, or addressing neurodevelopmental challenges early in life - Andrea loves to help others see and work towards their greatest potential.

Kristyn believes that feelings of connection, within a fun environment, are at the heart of successful pediatric physiotherapy treatment. She is dedicated to creating this in a unique and individualized manner within each and every therapy session.

Kristyn grew up in Ottawa where, from an early age, she had an affinity for both movement and working with children. She was a competitive gymnast, an avid skier/snowboarder and a general enthusiast of adventure and the outdoors.

After completing her Kinesiology degree she headed to Japan to teach English to local children. This was an enriching experience and also helped in solidifying her growing interest in the field of physiotherapy. By 2008, she had graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, was living in Vancouver and had found valuable opportunities that allowed her to pursue her passion for pediatrics and neurology. From there, she leapt into the role of being the sole pediatric physiotherapist for the Northern Albertan hospital and surrounding regions of Fort McMurray. Edmonton was the next stop on her journey. Here, she worked for Alberta Health Services providing home care for children with complex needs, worked at the Stollery Children’s Hospital and within the school boards.

Most recently, she has spent four years in pediatric Hematology Oncology at McMaster Children’s Hospital. Being a part of the difficult journey that these families endure in the face of cancer has been, by far, the most challenging but also the most meaningful work of her career.

Kristyn has had a fulfilling career to date and is grateful for the broad range of physiotherapy experiences acquired in pediatrics.

Kristyn has come full circle now, back to beautiful BC, back to family where she looks forward to putting down more permanent roots. She couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity to provide services to the children and teens of Comox Valley and its surrounding communities! She is also looking forward to exploring BC’s vast landscapes and oceans alongside her daughter and husband.
